Available Configurations

Model 800-C: Provides a switched/protected AC voltage output to be utilized as an equipment power source or as control voltage to control power switching contactors for equipment protection. When equipment is in normal operation and lightning is detected, the Model 800-C provides automatic and instantaneous equipment protection by simultaneously disconnecting and isolating the AC output voltage from its source and shunting the output connections together and to ground, for a period of time, then automatically restores all connections.

Model 800-1C (120VAC)
Model 300-2C (240 VAC)

Model 800-D: Same features as 800-C configuration plus one set of S.P.D.T "dry contacts" for interfacing with equipment control systems. The switching of the AC output voltage and the "dry contacts" can be simultaneous or the "dry contacts" only can switch immediately upon detection of lightning and the output voltage switching delayed from 1 – 240 minutes (factory programmable) before being disconnected to accommodate a sequential systematic equipment shut-down. Once lightning activity has subsided, the Model 800-D will first switch the "dry contacts" to their normal operating state, then restore AC output voltage after a programmed time delay of 0-140 seconds.

Model 800-1D (120 VAC)
Model 800-2D (240 VAC)

Model 800 Sync Series: Has same features as C or D Models above. Operation is synchronized to a control voltage from a remote site. Does not use Remote Detector Unit.

Model 800-1C-Sync (120 VAC)
Model 800-2C-Sync (240 VAC)
Model 800-1D-Sync (120 VAC)
Model 800-2D-Sync (240 VAC)

Model 800-Special: Custom configuration based on customer requests
