Our system continuously monitors the atmosphere. It senses the development of a dangerous condition and/or impending lightning strikes. It automatically places protected equipment into safe modes for the duration of the threat. Our products act on a threat before it can cause damage, all while the protected systems maintain full operation.

As mentioned, our system detects the signature frequency of lightning before the destructive return stroke occurs. It will not react to any old signal. Lightning and lightning alone will set it in motion. When a leader from the cloud and a streamer from an earth bound object meet, the impulse travels at 186,000 miles/second, much faster than the return stroke traveling at 60,000 miles/hour. It would be difficult for any person to catch the difference, but our products are designed to do just that.

Why is our technology your best option?

Lightning rods and surge suppressors prevent fires and common surges from damaging a building, but they do not protect electronic equipment from lightning.
